PLASTLAB IN 2025

The beginning of 2025 at Plastlab was characterized, like every year, by the evaluation of budget data and considerations on market movements and therefore by the examination of short and medium-term development strategies.

Plastlab, which concluded 2024 with the best performance of its turnover, intends to implement a policy of expansion of its core business in the current year.

The prospect that the crisis in the Automotive sector is decidedly structural and can no longer represent the cornerstone of the Consortium’s activity imposes the implication of different choices, linked both to new production processes such as Aerospace, and to a location of the laboratory more aligned with research and therefore experimentation activities; the latter linked to themes such as the University or the becoming of Star-ups in the field of recycled plastic materials.

Therefore, supported by data that legitimize a further increase in activities and by company policy choices, for the current year those medium-term strategies have already been launched which configure an opening to research activities in collaboration with university departments and companies; interventions which highlight the use of new generation polymeric techniques and materials which find their identity in a mix of agricultural products and recycled materials, in this regard we are participating in various national and international tenders, configuring ourselves from time to time as an ATS or Temporary Business Association.
