PLASTLAB LAB TESTS
PHYSICAL - MECHANICAL, THERMAL AND RHEOLOGICAL TESTS
The vast range of tests that can be performed in Plastlab laboratories allows for ever greater insight into the mechanical, rheological and thermal characteristics of the materials tested.
The field of physical-mechanical and thermal characterizations is important for evaluating the behavior of materials when subjected to external stresses; as regards the rheological characteristics of the material, they are intrinsic to the material itself.
As a laboratory Plastlab is able to perform dynamometric tests, determination of resilience, impact resistance, hardness and residual deformation after compression; rheological characterizations such as determination of density, Melt Flow Index and viscosity; thermal tests such as VICAT and HDT tests, brittle limit temperature and cold springback.
