Chemical resistance

Simulation of contact with chemical agents and contaminants that can be encountered during operation.

Test required by automotive specifications, performed on painted or mass-pigmented plastics to evaluate their resistance to the application of chemical agents or fluids generally used for car cleaning (e.g. alcohol), operating fluids (e.g. petrol ) or other factors that could affect the aesthetics of the component (car air fresheners or sunscreen).

Simulation also of external contaminants such as tree resin or guano for car exterior painted components.
