Plastlab is a laboratory mainly specialized in testing materials and components used in the polymers  field (plastic and elastomers). It’ s also able to give technical support  in other  different area like, for example,  metallic/ metallurgical , painting , anti-corrosion sectors, etc,…) thanks to the establishment of a cooperation network with specialized testing structures.   

•  Mission

 The laboratory, which has been certified according  ISO 9001 and by the Piedmont Region, as Educational Agency, operates in general within the polymeric materials sector with technical-scientific aims and in compliance with national and international standards, as well as to according the specific customer requirements.                                           The main purpose  are:  

 • Issues of test and/or analysis reports regarding  raw materials, semi-manufactured and finish parts.     

• • Activities of consulting and prototyping  related to use of the laser welding technique applied to polymeric materials using a specific multifunctional equipment available in the Plastlab Technological Hall  
• • Organization of technical educational courses and professional updating training; scheduling of several seminaries, conferences and stages regarding materials and technologies.    
• • Connection  and collaborations, in domestic and international countries, with  analogous structures operating in the same particular  competences area
